Gemscale Troubleshooting

Symptom

I can't get any (numerical) readings. I push the button, display reads 188.88 briefly, then ERR or -ERR or ----; or I put on the weight and it stays on CAL

Diagnosis

Verify that there is only the black removable pan on the scale, that it is level on a stable surface, and that there is nothing on the pan. When the button is first pressed, the weight must be off the scale.

Solution

The scale has most likely taken a shock, and the sensor has shifted. You must return it to us for a re-calibration.
